How to clear CBSE UGC NET exam Jan 2020 in less than 20 days.

The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the UGC-NET 2017 examination on January 22, 2020. So now only 20 days are allowed for the exam.

The examination is held for filling up Junior Research Fellowship or for Assistant Professor posts in Indian University.

The UGC NET Exam consists of three rounds of objective type papers. Each paper has its different standard and difficulty level, which increases from first to last round.

Examination pattern:

The examination will consist of the following three papers:

Theme 1: The exam will be kept for a duration of one and a half time of days. It will comprise 60 questions, out of which 50 questions should be essayed. It will carry a total of 100 marks.

Theme 2: The exam will be carried for a duration of one and a half hours and will have 50 questions (all are required). It will carry a total of 100 marks.

Theme 3: It will be retained for the duration of two and a half hours and will consist of 75 questions (all are required). It will carry a total of 150 marks.

FEW IMPORTANT PREPARATION TIPS.

  • Stay updated with recent intelligence and current affairs related to UGC NET.
  • To quickly revise what you have found out so far prepare short notes, it will certainly help you. It is the best mode of using your syllabus in a short time and revise everything. Observe down the key points and to make better notes highlight & underline the significant details.
  • If you are proceeding to appear for UGC NET 2017, time management is likewise indispensable. Make out your time for daily revision and also give 5 to 6 hours for your subjects.
  • Get several online mock exams.
  • Jot down the syllabus and cover the whole syllabus.
  • Stay updated with recent intelligence and current affairs related to UGC NET.

Eligibility criteria apply:

The nominees need to have a Master’s level in the relevant field from a known university or institute.

All the candidates in the final year of their academics are also eligible to apply.

Meanwhile, the admit cards for the CBSE UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) 2017 were released on December 21, 2016.

For getting selected, candidates must acquire the Minimum marks to be obtained in NET for considering a candidate for the award of JRF and eligibility for Assistant Professor. Its primary target is to provide recognition to the Indian universities and provide funds to such recognized universities and colleges. Top 15% candidates (for each subject and category), from the merit list mentioned under step II, will be declared NET qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor only. The test is conducted in streams such as Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce, etc.
