Diwali 2020 (When is Deepawali 2020) –
Day 15 will be Govardhan Puja and the last day will be celebrated on November 16 on Bhai Dauj or Chitragupta Jayanti. Actually this time according to almanac, it is not the second date due to which the dates are decreasing. This year, Amavasya of Kartik month is falling on 14 November 2020. This time, Narak Chaturdashi will be on November 14 for two to eight minutes in the afternoon. After this Amavasya Tithi will start. The Amavasya Tithi will start from 14 November from 2 to 17 minutes and will continue from 10 to 36 minutes on November 15 the next day. In such a situation, Diwali will be celebrated on 14 November.
Diwali 2020 Lakshmi Pujan
Since Deepavali occurs on the night of Amavasya Tithi and Lakshmi Pujan on the evening of Amavasya, Mahalakshmi Pujan will be performed on November 14. Amavasya will be on the next day till 10 pm on 15 November. Apart from this, Dhanteras Trayodashi date is starting from 09:30 pm on 12 November 2020 and will remain till 13 November. Lakshmi Pujan can be performed from 5 pm to 7 pm.
